Eye Contact...
Is it easy for you? Tim listened to some talk recently about the importance of eye contact in displaying confidence. Sometimes in this industry I work in, it's hard to be 100% confident. It's really easy to doubt yourself, become intimidated, your instinct becomes a little hard to hear. There are a whole lot of opinions. Along with Tim, this July, I'm going to start working on my eye contact...

This post is a hoot as we were having a recent conversation about eye contact as it relates to cheers, salut, or clinkin' the glass. In some countries, it's an insult to not look into someone's eyes when toasting with a "cheers." We were all chatting about how uncomfortable it makes us feel to have direct eye contact. It feels intimate and us Seattle-ites are friendly, but not too intimate with those we don't know. Good on ya for working on it--can't wait to see if it changes things for you--
